A fine quality Edwardian sterling silver Vesta case which is small in size.  Both sides of the case is beautifully engraved with a floral scroll leaf pattern.  On the front there is an empty cartouche which sits diagonally in the centre.  It has a rounded edge and a beaded border.  There is the usual serrated match striker panel at the underside.  A gilt interior is still visible.

It measures 3.8cm x 2.5cm x 0.9cm when closed.

It has a full British hallmark on the inside edge assayed in Birmingham, 1906.

The maker is J.G.

It weighs 15.4gms (0.4 troy ounce).

The condition is very good.  It does have a slight dent on both sides but the engraving is still very clear.  There are the usual age related markings too.  Please do study all of the photographs as they are a true reflection of condition.

There are many other Vesta cases and silver items for sale so please have a look regularly as items are being added on every week.
